Description The issue is caused by a buffer overflow in the Chakra JavaScript engine of Microsoft Edge, allowing remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (memory corruption) via a crafted web site. The vulnerabilities could corrupt memory in such a way that an attacker could execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user. If the current user is logged on with administrative user rights, an attacker who successfully exploited the vulnerabilities could take control of an affected system.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
