Description
The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service due to memory corruption via a crafted web site. This is caused by a buffer overflow in memory. The vulnerability can be exploited by an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user. If the user has administrative rights, the attacker could take control of the system, install programs, view, change or delete data, or create new accounts with full user rights.
Recommendations
For Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 9 through 11, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
