Description The issue is related to insufficient access control in the Microsoft Video Control component of the Windows operating system. It allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted file. This can affect the system.
Recommendations For Microsoft Windows Vista SP2, Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, Windows RT 8.1, and Windows 10 Gold, 1511, and 1607, update to a version that includes the fix for the Microsoft Video Control Remote Code Execution issue. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
