Description
The Virtual Hard Disk Driver in Windows does not properly restrict access to files, allowing local users to gain privileges via a crafted application. This issue is related to an elevation-of-privilege vulnerability that can be exploited by attackers to affect the system.
Recommendations
For Windows 10 versions 10, 1511, and 1607, and Windows Server 2016, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
