Description The issue is related to a lack of protection for service data in the MySQL database management system. It can be exploited by a remote attacker to cause the system to hang or crash. The attack can be performed via network packets and may result in a denial of service (DOS). A high-privileged attacker with network access can compromise the MySQL Server.
Recommendations For versions 5.5.53 and earlier, update to a version that contains a fix for this issue to prevent exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
