Description
The issue is related to errors in the System Management Interrupt (SMI) handler of the AMI UsbRt microcode for Intel NUC motherboards. Exploitation of this issue can allow a local attacker to gain full control over the system by executing arbitrary code in System Management Mode (SMM), potentially leading to disabling of flash memory write protection, installation of third-party microcode, disabling of Secure Boot, and other malicious actions.
