Description
The issue is related to the Qualcomm bootloader in Android, where the
platform/msm shared/dev tree.c file does not properly check the relationship between tags addresses and aboot addresses. This allows attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in an OS outage, via a crafted application.Recommendations
For Android versions prior to 2016-07-05 on Nexus 5 devices, update the operating system to a version released after 2016-07-05 to resolve the issue.
