Description The issue is a stack-based buffer overflow in the hw/scsi/scsi-bus.c file of QEMU, which occurs when QEMU is built with SCSI-device emulation support. This allows guest OS users with CAP SYS RAWIO permissions to cause a denial of service, resulting in an instance crash. The crash is triggered by an invalid opcode in a SCSI command descriptor block.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
