The issue allows local users to gain privileges via a Trojan horse executable file in the %SYSTEMDRIVE% directory. This can be demonstrated by placing a malicious
program.exe in the specified directory.Recommendations
For Symantec Endpoint Encryption (SEE) versions 11.x before 11.1.1, update to version 11.1.1 or later to resolve the issue.
