Description The issue allows remote authenticated users to read files with names starting with ".v" and belonging to a sharing user. This occurs when the "file versions" application is enabled and the software does not properly check the return value of getOwner, which is leveraged through an incoming share.

Recommendations For ownCloud Server versions prior to 7.0.12, update to version 7.0.12 or later. For ownCloud Server versions 8.0.x prior to 8.0.10, update to version 8.0.10 or later. For ownCloud Server versions 8.1.x prior to 8.1.5, update to version 8.1.5 or later. For ownCloud Server versions 8.2.x prior to 8.2.2, update to version 8.2.2 or later.
