Description The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in a stack-based buffer overflow and application crash, via a crafted file. This is due to the wiretap/nettrace 3gpp 32 423.c file in the 3GPP TS 32.423 Trace file parser not ensuring that a '0' character is present at the end of certain strings.
Recommendations For Wireshark versions 2.0.x through 2.0.1, update to version 2.0.2 or later to resolve the issue.
