Description
The issue is related to the iSeries file parser in Wireshark, where the iseries check file type function does not properly handle lines lacking the "OBJECT PROTOCOL" substring. This can be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in an out-of-bounds read and application crash, via a crafted file.
Recommendations
For Wireshark versions 2.0.x through 2.0.1, update to version 2.0.2 or later to resolve the issue.
