Description The issue is related to the switch to function in the Linux kernel, which does not properly context-switch IOPL on 64-bit PV Xen guests. This allows local guest OS users to gain privileges, cause a denial of service (guest OS crash), or obtain sensitive information by leveraging I/O port access.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
