Description The issue affects confidentiality and is related to encryption in the Server component. It can be exploited by a high-privileged attacker with network access via multiple protocols, potentially leading to a denial of service (DOS) through crashing the MySQL Server.
Recommendations For Oracle MySQL versions 5.5.48 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.5.48. For Oracle MySQL versions 5.6.29 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.6.29. For Oracle MySQL versions 5.7.10 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.7.10. For MariaDB versions prior to 5.5.49, update to version 5.5.49 or later.
