Description The issue allows remote administrators to affect availability via vectors related to Server: InnoDB. It is an easily exploitable vulnerability that can be compromised by a high privileged attacker with network access via multiple protocols, resulting in the unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash of the MySQL Server.
Recommendations For Oracle MySQL versions 5.6.30 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.6.30. For Oracle MySQL versions 5.7.12 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.7.12. For MariaDB versions 10.0.x before 10.0.25, update to version 10.0.25 or later. For MariaDB versions 10.1.x before 10.1.14, update to version 10.1.14 or later.
