Description
The issue affects confidentiality, integrity, and availability. It is related to vectors in the Server: Parser component. A high-privileged attacker with network access can exploit this issue via multiple protocols to compromise the MySQL Server, potentially causing a hang or repeatable crash, leading to a denial of service.
Recommendations
For Oracle MySQL versions 5.5.49 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.5.49.
For Oracle MySQL versions 5.6.30 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.6.30.
For Oracle MySQL versions 5.7.12 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.7.12.
