| Vector | AV:N/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:H |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Oracle MySQL versions 5.7.12 and earlier
Description
The issue allows remote authenticated users to affect integrity and availability. It is related to vectors in the Server: InnoDB component. A high-privileged attacker with network access can compromise the MySQL Server, potentially causing a hang or repeatable crash, resulting in a denial of service.
Recommendations
For Oracle MySQL versions 5.7.12 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.7.12 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Server: InnoDB component to minimize the risk of exploitation.
