Description The issue concerns the proc connectinfo function in the Linux kernel, which fails to initialize a certain data structure. This allows local users to obtain sensitive information from kernel stack memory by making a crafted USBDEVFS CONNECTINFO ioctl call.
Recommendations For Linux kernel versions prior to 4.7, update to version 4.7 or later to resolve the issue.
