Description The issue is related to a problem in the Linux kernel where it does not properly traverse a mount propagation tree in a certain case involving a slave mount. This allows local users to cause a denial of service, resulting in a NULL pointer dereference and OOPS, via a crafted series of mount system calls.
Recommendations For Linux kernel versions prior to 4.5.4, update to version 4.5.4 or later to resolve the issue.
