| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Yokogawa STARDOM FCN/FCJ controller versions R1.01 through R4.01
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to reconfigure the device or cause a denial of service. This can be achieved via a stop application program, change value, or modify application command, as no authentication is required for Logic Designer connections.
Recommendations
For versions R1.01 through R4.01, consider implementing authentication for Logic Designer connections to prevent unauthorized access. As a temporary workaround, restrict access to the Logic Designer to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
