Description The issue allows remote administrators to affect availability via vectors related to Server: RBR. It is an easily exploitable vulnerability that can be compromised by a high privileged attacker with network access via multiple protocols, resulting in unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash of MySQL Server.
Recommendations For Oracle MySQL versions 5.5.49 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.5.49. For Oracle MySQL versions 5.6.30 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.6.30. For Oracle MySQL versions 5.7.12 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.7.12. For MariaDB versions prior to 5.5.50, update to version 5.5.50 or later. For MariaDB versions 10.0.x prior to 10.0.26, update to version 10.0.26 or later. For MariaDB versions 10.1.x prior to 10.1.15, update to version 10.1.15 or later.
