Description An issue was discovered where a user can create a specially crafted symlink on disk to a file that phpMyAdmin is permitted to read but the user is not. This allows phpMyAdmin to expose the file to the user.
Recommendations For versions 4.0.x prior to 4.0.10.17, update to version 4.0.10.17 or later. For versions 4.4.x prior to 4.4.15.8, update to version 4.4.15.8 or later. For versions 4.6.x prior to 4.6.4, update to version 4.6.4 or later.
