Description The issue is related to the imx fec do tx function in QEMU, which does not properly limit the buffer descriptor count when transmitting packets. This allows local guest OS administrators to cause a denial of service, resulting in an infinite loop and QEMU process crash, by using a buffer descriptor with a length of 0 and crafted values in bd.flags.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
