Description
The issue allows remote authenticated users to affect availability via vectors related to Server: Types. It is an easily exploitable vulnerability that can be compromised by a high privileged attacker with network access via multiple protocols, resulting in the unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash of MySQL Server.
Recommendations
For versions 5.5.51 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.5.51 to resolve the issue.
For versions 5.6.32 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.6.32 to resolve the issue.
For versions 5.7.14 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.7.14 to resolve the issue.
