Description An issue was discovered where the admin password is stored in the system and encrypted with a static key that is hard-coded in the program. This could allow attackers to reverse the admin account password for use.

Recommendations For Advantech SUISAccess Server versions 3.0 and prior, consider changing the admin password to a strong, unique password and avoid using the default or easily guessable passwords until a patch is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
