Description
The issue allows non-authenticated users to inject JavaScript into a request, which is then rendered and executed in the context of the Administrative user when viewing the Access System Logs. This enables the non-authenticated user to carry out a Cross Site Scripting (XSS) attack against the Administrative user.
Recommendations
For F5 BIG-IP APM versions 12.0.0 through 12.1.2, consider restricting access to the Access System Logs feature until a fix is available, to minimize the risk of exploitation.
