Description
A denial of service issue in core networking could allow a remote attacker to use specially crafted network packets to cause a device hang or reboot. The issue is related to insufficient input validation in the core networking service of the Android operating system, which may enable a remote attacker to bypass certificate verification.
Recommendations
For Android versions 6.0 through 7.1, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
