High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Adobe Flash Player versions 24.0.0.186 and earlier
Description The issue is caused by a heap overflow in memory due to a buffer operation exceeding its boundaries. This can allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code. The heap overflow vulnerability is related to texture compression. Successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary code execution.
Recommendations For Adobe Flash Player versions 24.0.0.186 and earlier, update to a version later than 24.0.0.186 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the texture compression feature until a patch is available. Restrict access to the affected Adobe Flash Player module to minimize the risk of exploitation.
