Description
The issue affects the RDBMS Security component of Oracle Database Server, allowing a high-privileged attacker with Create User privilege and logon access to the infrastructure to compromise RDBMS Security. This can result in unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some RDBMS Security accessible data.
Recommendations
For version 11.2.0.4, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue.
For version 12.1.0.2, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue.
For version 12.2.0.1, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the RDBMS Security component to minimize the risk of exploitation.
