Description A buffer over-read issue occurs when processing a specially crafted QCA NL80211 VENDOR SUBCMD NDP cfg80211 vendor command. This issue is related to the Linux kernel.
Recommendations For Android for MSM, consider restricting access to the cfg80211 vendor command until a patch is available. For Firefox OS for MSM, avoid using the QCA NL80211 VENDOR SUBCMD NDP command in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. For QRD Android, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the vulnerable cfg80211 functionality until a fix is provided. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
