CVSS v3.1

8.8

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Trend Micro InterScan Messaging Virtual Appliance versions 9.0 through 9.1
Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations by exploiting a proxy command injection vulnerability. This can be done by parsing the t parameter within the modTMCSS Proxy.
Recommendations For versions 9.0 and 9.1, avoid using the t parameter in the modTMCSS Proxy until a patch is available. Consider restricting access to the modTMCSS Proxy to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
