Description The openSAFETY dissector in Wireshark could crash or exhaust system memory due to incomplete length validation. This issue arose from an incomplete fix for a previous problem.

Recommendations For Wireshark versions 2.0.0 through 2.0.13, update to a version that includes the fix for the openSAFETY dissector. For Wireshark versions 2.2.0 through 2.2.7, update to a version that includes the fix for the openSAFETY dissector. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the openSAFETY dissector until a patch is available.
