Description
A vulnerability in the IPv6 Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) code could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to cause high CPU usage or a reload of the device. The issue is due to IPv6 sub block corruption. An attacker could exploit this by polling the affected device's IPv6 information, potentially triggering high CPU usage or a device reload.
Recommendations
For version Denali-16.3.1, consider applying the available workaround to address this issue, as there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
