Description The issue is related to a type confusion in the Histogram component, which can be exploited by a remote attacker using a crafted HTML page. This could potentially allow the attacker to exploit a near null dereference. The vulnerability may also enable an attacker to access local files.
Recommendations For Google Chrome versions prior to 56.0.2924.76 on Linux, Windows, and Mac, update to version 56.0.2924.76 or later. For Google Chrome version prior to 56.0.2924.87 on Android, update to version 56.0.2924.87 or later. As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of the Histogram component until a patch is available.
