Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
BlackCat CMS version 1.2
Description
The issue allows remote authenticated users to inject arbitrary PHP code into info.php via a crafted
new modulename parameter to the "backend/addons/ajax create.php" endpoint. This can be exploited via CSRF.Recommendations
For BlackCat CMS version 1.2, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the "backend/addons/ajax create.php" endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the
new modulename parameter in the affected endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.CSRF
