Description The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via various parameters, including partnerId, playerVersion, secret, entryId, adminUiConfId, uiConfId, streamUsername, streamPassword, streamRemoteId, streamRemoteBackupId. The affected API endpoints include "/server/admin console/web/tools/bigRedButton.php", "/server/admin console/web/tools/bigRedButtonPtsPoc.php", "/server/admin console/web/tools/AkamaiBroadcaster.php", "/server/admin console/web/tools/XmlJWPlayer.php", and "/server/alpha/web/lib/bigRedButtonPtsPocHlsjs.php".
Recommendations For versions prior to 13.2.0, update to version 13.2.0 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the affected API endpoints until a patch is available. Avoid using the vulnerable parameters in the affected endpoints until the issue is resolved.
