Description The issue arises from the smacker decode tree function in libavcodec/smacker.c, which fails to properly restrict tree recursion. This allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in a bitstream.c:build table() out-of-bounds read and application crash, via a crafted Smacker stream.
