Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
SeaCMS version 6.56
Description
The issue allows remote authenticated administrators to execute arbitrary PHP code. This is achieved by crafting a token field to the
admin/admin ping.php endpoint, which interacts with data/admin/ping.php.Recommendations
For SeaCMS version 6.56, consider restricting access to the
admin/admin ping.php endpoint until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the admin/admin ping.php endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation.Exploit
