Description The issue is related to a memory leak in the hw/audio/es1370.c component of the QEMU emulator. This can be exploited by a local attacker to cause a denial of service, resulting in host memory consumption and a potential QEMU process crash. The exploitation is possible through a large number of device unplug operations.
