Description The issue is caused by an integer overflow in the emulated apdu from guest function in usb/dev-smartcard-reader.c, which is part of the Qemu emulator when built with CCID Card device emulator support. This allows local users to cause a denial of service, resulting in an application crash, by sending a large Application Protocol Data Units (APDU) unit.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
