Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Windows (affected versions not specified)
Description
The issue is related to the lack of protection for system data in the Windows operating system. It can be exploited by a remote attacker using a specially crafted website, potentially leading to a denial of service or other system impacts. Additionally, there are information disclosure vulnerabilities in the Windows Graphics Device Interface (GDI) related to how it handles objects in memory. These vulnerabilities allow an attacker to retrieve information from a targeted system, which, when combined with another vulnerability, could potentially lead to arbitrary code execution. However, exploiting these vulnerabilities requires the attacker to log on to the affected system.
Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
