Description
The issue is related to type confusion in extensions JavaScript bindings, which allowed a remote attacker to potentially maliciously modify objects via a crafted HTML page. This could be achieved on various platforms, including Mac, Windows, Linux, and Android.
Recommendations
For Google Chrome versions prior to 60.0.3112.78, update to version 60.0.3112.78 or later to resolve the issue.
For Opera, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
