Description The issue allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL commands. This is achieved via the cat parameter in the include/functions entries.inc.php file.
Recommendations For Serendipity version 2.0.5, consider restricting access to the cat parameter in the include/functions entries.inc.php file until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the cat parameter in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
