| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:N/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
ARM processors (affected versions not specified)
Description
The issue allows data and code pointers from JavaScript to be leaked, breaking Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR), by exploiting a side-channel attack on Memory Management Unit (MMU) operations. This is possible because page table walks conducted by the MMU during virtual to physical address translation leave a trace in the last level cache of modern ARM processors.
Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
