Description The issue is a heap-based buffer overflow in the decodeBlock function in MSADPCM.cpp. This allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) via a crafted file.
Recommendations For versions 0.2.7 through 0.3.6, consider disabling the decodeBlock function in MSADPCM.cpp as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
