Description The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in a segmentation violation for read access and an application crash, by triggering an invalid Unicode property lookup.
Recommendations For PCRE version 8.40, update to a version that fixes the issue. For PCRE2 version 10.23, update to a version that fixes the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the vulnerable function to minimize the risk of exploitation.
