CVE-2017-7249

CVSS v3.1

6.1

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Gazelle versions prior to 2017-03-19
Description The issue is related to insufficient filtration of user-supplied data, specifically the action and userid variables, passed to the "Gazelle-master/sections/tools/data/ocelot info.php" URL. This allows an attacker to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a browser in the context of the vulnerable website.
Recommendations For versions prior to 2017-03-19, consider restricting access to the "Gazelle-master/sections/tools/data/ocelot info.php" URL until a fix is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the action and userid variables in this URL to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
