Description A Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) issue allows an authenticated user to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via non-sanitized parameters refresh and branchtotable present in HTTP POST requests.
Recommendations For Fortinet FortiWLC versions 6.1-2 through 6.1-5, update to a version that sanitizes the refresh and branchtotable parameters in HTTP POST requests. For Fortinet FortiWLC versions 7.0-7 through 7.0-10, update to a version that sanitizes the refresh and branchtotable parameters in HTTP POST requests. For Fortinet FortiWLC versions 8.0 through 8.3.2, update to a version that sanitizes the refresh and branchtotable parameters in HTTP POST requests. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the parameters refresh and branchtotable in HTTP POST requests until a patch is available.
