Description The issue allows authenticated remote attackers to cause a denial-of-service by sending a certificate with an embedded NULL character. This can be exploited by remote attackers who have passed authentication.

Recommendations For versions prior to 2.4.3, update to version 2.4.3 or later to resolve the issue. For versions prior to 2.3.17, update to version 2.3.17 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to authenticated remote users until a patch is applied.
