Description
The issue allows local users to cause a denial of service by leveraging the ability to open a raw socket, resulting in an integer overflow and infinite loop. This is due to a problem in the
ip6 find 1stfragopt function in net/ipv6/output core.c.Recommendations
For Linux kernel versions prior to 4.12.3, update to version 4.12.3 or later to resolve the issue.
For ALT Linux, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
