Description The issue allows local users to cause a denial of service by leveraging the ability to open a raw socket, resulting in an integer overflow and infinite loop. This is due to a problem in the ip6 find 1stfragopt function in net/ipv6/output core.c.
Recommendations For Linux kernel versions prior to 4.12.3, update to version 4.12.3 or later to resolve the issue. For ALT Linux, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
